The worst flooding Serbia has seen

Three months worth of rain fell in three days in Serbia during the May 2014. More than 30,000 people were evacuated from the hardest hit Serbian towns and are being accommodated in sports halls, hotels and schools. More than million people live in affected areas. 27 people lost their lifes. Many people lost their homes. Country needs huge support. Overall damage amounts to hundreds of millions of euros. Our country needs huge support. We are not able to provide it alone.

IAA Serbia as a member of international association network also believes that global support from our industry can be of great help in the months to come. We would kindly suggest that IAA Global as well as IAA national chapters join international aid program by organizing financial, humanitarian or any other help. The worst is behind us, however we still face a period of long recovery and huge effort to get those people back to ordinary life they once had.
